My Very First Blog!

Hello.... Anyone there?

This is my very first blog and I have to admit I am feeling quite nervous
.

So, firstly, why am I doing this?  Well, I have just returned home from an amazing weekend in Solihull, Birmingham.  I spent the weekend with 41 other women who are all Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

What's Stampin Up! I hear you all cry.  Let me tell you -
In 1988, two sisters had a dream to enjoy meaningful relationship and express creativity.  Stampin' Up! was the fulfillment of that dream: it gave them an excuse to meet new people, have fun, and share creative thoughts and projects. More than two decades later, thousands of demonstrators around the world are living the dream themselves, using Stampin’ Up! products to create handmade cards, scrapbook pages, craft projects, and home decor.

I am absolutely buzzing after the weekend, I have made lots of new friends, and come away with so many ideas.

I volunteered to take part in the August Birthday Blog Hop, which is where 5 demonstrators are given a stamp set and are asked to showcase what could be made using the set.  You produce a video / blog for each week during the month of August.  I am very scared - not going to lie.  The room was full of so much creativity and imagination that I did feel a little inadequate, but in saying that, I am going o give it a really good go and already have a few ideas of what to do, so watch this space!

I plan to use this blog to share my journey with Stampin' Up! and the various projects that I make.

If anyone reading this is interested in joining me, wants to find out more, or just wants to say hi, then please do, I'd love to hear from you.

I am going to stop talking now, as I am off to look at all the wonderful swaps I received at the weekend - I will share this with you later.

Take Care, Vicky x

Thanks for reading.

  1. Welcome to Stampin' Up!, blogland and YouTube Vicky. So pleased to hear you enjoyed the Team Retreat. Sadly, I couldn't make it but will be at On Stage in November.
Look forward to seeing your ideas.
